Student Affairs Committee
About the SAC
The Student Affairs Committee (SAC) provides strategic leadership for student wellbeing, personal development and the overall pupil experience at Kearsney College.
Working closely with the Deputy Head: Student Affairs, the committee ensures that academic, pastoral, spiritual, disciplinary and co-curricular aspects of school life are aligned with the College’s mission, values and the Portrait of a Kearsney Graduate programme.
Purpose
The SAC exists to create a safe, supportive and disciplined environment where boys can thrive and develop holistically. The committee promotes high behavioural and ethical standards, proactive wellbeing support and meaningful engagement across all areas of school life.
Composition
The committee is chaired by the Deputy Head: Student Affairs and includes the Senior of Grade Head, Senior Housemaster, Head of Wellbeing, School Chaplain and the School Psychologist. Together, they provide oversight of boarding life, mental health and counselling, spiritual development and pastoral support.
