We’ve got the school run covered. Kearsney offers transport services for both dayboys and boarders. Our daily and weekly bus services are run by friendly, reliable and highly-skilled drivers, ensuring your sons get to and from school safely.

Please Note
- Stops are only made at locations indicated below.
- There are no return trips on Saturdays.
- These schedules are subject to change.
- At half-term and end of term, the bus/es will leave approximately 15 minutes after school closes.
- Transport costs are charged in arrears at the end of each month, regardless of frequency of use.
Dayboy Transport Services
Collection points and times, Monday to Saturday:
- Woodcutters, Westville Central: 06:20
- Sasol, Cowies Hill: 06:25
- Shell Garage, Car Wash section, Pinetown: 06:35
- Kloof, Delcairn Centre: 06:45 (Drop off bus stop at Kloof Spar)
- Kloof, Maytime Shopping Centre: 06:50
- Winston Park, Caltex Garage: 07:00
- Arrive Kearsney College: 07:15
Return times from the College:
- Monday and Thursday: 18:00
- Friday: 16:30
Collection points and times, Monday to Saturday:
- St Olav’s Church, St Thomas Road: 06:00 (combines with the Westville service)
Return times from the College (Berea and Westville services):
- Monday to Thursday: 18:00
- Friday: 16:30

Boarder Transport Services
The service runs on Monday mornings but not the first day of a new term.
Collection points and times:
- Richards Bay (BP Express Garage, 125 Bullion Boulevard, near Avis Van Rental): 04:10
- Richards Bay (BP Garage at Tangawizi Motors, off John Ross Highway, Richards Bay): 04:20
- Mtunzini (Toll plaza at the Mtunzini on/off ramp): 04:50
- To arrive in Ballito and transfer to Ballito bus by 06:00
The service runs on Monday mornings but not the first day of a new term.
Ballito Bus:
- Departs Ballito (Shell Garage, Greenfields Service Station) at 06:00
Umhlanga Bus:
- Departs outside McDonald’s (opposite the Shell Garage), 317 Umhlanga Rocks Drive, Umhlanga at 06:30
We have initiated a Monday morning bus service from Hilton and Pietermaritzburg for returning boarders (not the first day of a new term).
These times will be adjusted should experience suggest it is necessary.
Collection points and times:
- Anew Hotel Hilton (1 Hilton Avenue, Hilton) at 05:50
- Engen Hayfields Service Station (101 New England Road, Pietermaritzburg) at 06:15
- Arrival at Kearsney: 07:00
