To promote the welfare of Kearsney College, specifically the well-being of the boys by providing assistance with bursaries; allocating funds towards the boarding houses; contribute funding to Matric Dance; promote friendly relations, support, co-operation and liaise between parents, society members, the governors, the Headmaster and staff; assist the College in marketing initiatives.
Five Ways We Support Kearsney
The Kearsney College Parents’ Society (KCPS) aims to promote the welfare of the College, specifically the well-being of the boys. How do we do this?
Bursaries
Raising funds to help carefully selected boys receive the life-changing opportunity of a Kearsney education.
Boarding and Projects
Raising funds for specific needs in the boys' boarding houses and special projects outside the school budget.
Dance Funding
Contributing funding towards the Matric Dance and the Grade 11 Dance each year.
Camaraderie
Promoting support and co-operation between parents, society members, the board, the Headmaster and staff.
Marketing and Promotion
Assisting marketing initiatives, such as selling supporters' kit through the Barrow, and promoting events and the Kearsney brand.

The Kearsney College Parents’ Society (KCPS) welcomes all parents to join and get involved.
Get Involved in the Parents' Society
Parents’ Society meetings are open to all Kearsney College parents and are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month in the Greyhound Pavilion Board Room at 18:00.
